Have you been feeling discouraged by a chronic illness diagnosis? We’re talking to rehabilitation clinician Jonathan Parr about his work as an EDS and Dysautonomia specialist, and working with people who have received a chronic illness diagnosis to help them get their lives back. Jonathan discusses how you can holistically reframe the way you look at your diagnosis, make the mindset shift away from the “quick fix” mentality, and how to begin addressing the nervous system to help you heal from the inside out.
Jonathan began working as an exercise physiologist for cardiac and metabolic conditions while also working as a strength and conditioning coach training high-school, collegiate, and professional athletes. After graduating with a Master's in Physical Therapy, he began working with people with some of the most traumatic injuries and rarest disorders worldwide. Additionally, he’s currently one of a few rehabilitation clinicians nationwide who currently specializes in the treatment of EDS and Dysautonomia using his “3-systems” approach.
